Description:
Private residence with several sculptural elements. A decorated pillar with an engineering theme supports the corner of a porch roof. The pillar has a wheel near the top and is capped with an airplane propeller. Several bas-reliefs decorate the outside surface of the house. These include a swan, a stork and the full-length figures of a boy and girl in proper left profile. Other scenes depict a man operating a pneumatic
drill
. On the porch wall is the plaster copy of a magazine cover picture: a man looking over his shoulder. In the yard is a birdbath; the bowl of the birdbath is supported by a pedestal formed like a human arm. The bowl sits on an open human hand.
