Inscription:  (On back of base:) Margaret Beaudette SC/New York/1992 signed Description:  St. Elizabeth Ann Seton seated on a rock surrounded by three children. She is dressed in a full-length dress with a cape and a bonnet. She rests her proper right hand on a book which rests on her lap. A girl stands at her proper right side with a book in her proper left hand and a pen in her proper right hand. A boy sits cross-legged by St. Elizabeth's proper right foot, his proper right hand on his proper right knee and proper left hand on the sculpture base. Another boy sits on a rock with hands on his knees next to St. Elizabeth's proper left side. She embraces the boy with her proper left arm. The sculpture is mounted upon a rectangular block base.
