    Description: 
    Standing figure of an African-American horse soldier. He wears knee-high boots, with spurs but no rowels, long gauntlets are on hands, a jacket with 3 V-shaped stripes on the sleeve, a cartridge belt with US inscribed on buckle, a cap with a feather on the proper right side, and pants. Proper right hand holds a flintlock type rifle and proper left hand holds an open back saddle with stirrups resting on base.
