    Description: 
    A large courtyard installation, with rows of 171 frogs set two feet apart in fountain basin facing a geodesic globe. The ceramic frogs are painted gold and mounted on painted ceramic lilypads. They are set stop pyramidal-shaped concrete pedestals. The globe, which originally released steam vapor, is placed on a slanted banking of stones to one side of the basin.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was designed as part of the Rio Shopping Center. Architects for the project were Architectonica and the owner-developer, Charles Ackerman. Original plans called for kudzu to be planted around the sculpture, covering the globe's framework.
