The Italian stone figures on the sides of the grotto are child-like fauns with hooves and pointed ears. Each of these figures also plays an instrument: reed pipes, tambourine, cymbals and rams horn. The grotto functions as a fountain and rests on an oval-shaped brick base. Both the grotto and base are planted.
