Portrait of Nathaniel Sparhawk standing with his body facing front, his head turned slightly to the left, and his gaze directed toward the viewer. He stands with his right hand in his pocket and his left arm resting on the base of a column, his left hand holding a scroll of blueprints. In the background there is another column and an arch with a landscape beyond.
