Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Box R 816, Girdle Ridge Road, On lawn across road from house, Katonah, New York 10536
    Remarks:
The sculpture was purchased by Walter Rosen for his private estate in Katonah, New York called Caramoor. A foundation set up by Rosen took over the estate in 1968. Now called the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, the foundation offers tours of the house and grounds and hosts a summer music program. Flora is one of a pair of sculptures on the grounds of Caramoor attributed to Italian sculptor Antonio Bonazzi. Bonazzi is believed to have created the sculptures in Padua, Italy between 1740 and 1750. The other sculpture in the pair is Zephyr (see IAS NY001202). The sculptures may have once been located in Venice, Italy. Flora was once installed at another location on the grounds before being moved to its present site.
