    Description: 
    A figure of Diana with head turned to the proper right stand on a short base at the front of a large niche. She holds her proper right arm up to her proper right shoulder where she holds a garment clasp with her hand. With her proper left hand near her chest, she holds drapery to attach it to the clasp. There is a tree stump at the back of her proper right leg. The sculpture is mounted on a short base set on wooden blocks. It rests in a circular alcove under a gazebo that is adjacent to a fountain and pool.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was formerly in the collection of Mary Clark Thompson and is located at Sonnenberg Gardens (the former Thompson summer residence) which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Blue and White Garden was one of nine gardens created between 1902 and 1916. Sculpture was moved from the unstable temple of Diana to the gazebo in fountain pool area of the Blue and White Garden.
