Description:
High relief stone sculpture of Zeus flanked by two female figures in
classical
dress. He wears robes, is bare-chested and sits on a throne. The figure on his proper right is holding Zeus' hand which rests on her proper right shoulder. Her head is turned away from him and she holds a bowl in her proper left hand. A young nude boy stands beside her and eats out of the bowl. Two chickens stand beside the boy. One of the birds is pecking at the ground; the other gazes up at the boy. The female figure on Zeus' proper left has her head turned away from him. She holds a water jar in her proper left arm. A dog and two lambs stand at her feet. The relief is located in the pediment of a building.
