    Description: 
    A bas-relief of a young child sitting on the ground and reading a book held in its hands. Appearing to walk towards the child along a curving brick road are characters from the "Wizard of Oz," including Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. In the upper left corner as if flying in the air is the Wicked Witch of the West on a broomstick, and in the upper right corner is a tornado. In the background are a balloon and the Emerald City. In the foreground is a field of poppies.
