    Remarks:
The design team of six individuals was commissioned to create a public space at Piers 62/63 on the Seattle downtown waterfront. The project was part of "In Public: Seattle 1991", a program in which artists created permanent and temporary works across the city. Dubrow acted as urban historian for the project. Funding for the project was provided by Department of Parks and Recreation, The National Endowment for the Arts and Seattle Art Museum One Percent for Art Fund. IAS files include copy of related article from "Seattle Arts", Aug. 1990, pg. 8, which gives full statement of interest and intent of the design team, including history of piers.
