Description:
A standing figure of a soldier dressed in a Spanish-American War uniform holding his rifle horizontally in front of him with both hands. He wears a hat, an ammunition belt, and has a satchel slung over his proper left shoulder and a canteen slung over his proper right shoulder. The soldier stands with is proper left foot forward. The sculpture rests on a rough-hewn square granite base.
