    A bronze eagle with its wings spread rests atop a carved granite drum which rests atop a granite shaft. On the front of the granite shaft is a bronze plaque depicting a soldier's canteen surrounded by oak leaves.

    Remarks: 
    The monument (referred to as MN 206) is listed on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures, and is referenced in the Gettysburg National Military Park Archives, vol. 31. IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. The monument is one of 110 to Pennsylvania commands and is one of eighteen with bronze sculptures. The memorial was erected by the Regimental Association. The location of the memorial indicated the position held by the 90th Pennsylvania Infantry on July 3, 1863.
