Inscription:  (On beer bottle: artist's signature) signed Description:  Two monumental relief panels on building facade. Each allegorical panel consists of male and female figures in classical Greek garments, holding items that symbolize the functions of the building, including: Law, Peace, Justice and Learning. At the feet of the larger figures is a smaller group of figures that reflect Washtenaw's County history from pioneer to contemporary days. Included is a beer bottle, reflecting the history of the brewing industry in Ann Arbor.
