Description:
A large, chain saw carved head of Native American Otus Micco,wearing a headdress with one feather. The head is brightly painted in primary colors and earth tones and is atop a multitiered base.

Remarks:
Otus Micco was a Native American who, in 1816, by orders of Andrew Jackson, abandoned his village with his people and fled to Spanish Florida rather than live under the guns of Fort Gaines and submit to American rule. Sculpture was donated by the artist, Phillip Andrews. Sculpture was encased in fiberglass and repainted after repeated vandalism.
