    Remarks:
The sculpture was a community centennial project and 13 community carvers, experienced and inexperienced, were organized by Marion Clayton to carve the work. Diane Arbaney and Jeri Rodgers sketched a plan for the totem and carving was overseen by Ole Oldsen. Various businesses and individuals within the community contributed $5,000 towards the cost of the sculpture. IAS files contain transcription of names of carvers and contributors. IAS files also contain history of the totem pole and detailed subject description of the work, which gives significance of the images and identifies who carved which sections.
