    Description: 
    The installation depicts the students known as the Little Rock Nine during integration of Little Rock's Central High School. There are six female figures wearing skirts and blouses and three male figures wearing shirts and trousers dating from the late 1950s. The figures stand on a concrete pad and face the Arkansas State Capitol. Surrounding the figures are bronze plaques incised with quotes from the students and other leaders from that time period.
