    Description:
The entrance mural, located over a square entry way, features a red heart at the center, and the words, "Bienvenidos" and "Welcome". The entry walls run through the length of the park in seven separate sections. The low walls feature an undulating line of blue tiles representing the river and ceramic plaques that bear the names of the four barrios. The central sculpture consists of five 8-foot pillars connected by star-studded arches. In separately tiled letters and symbols, the pillars relay the histories of the four adjacent barrios (Anita, Hollywood-Manzo, El Rio and Old Pascua) and of the original Tucson, in English, Spanish and Yaqui. The other tiles, in a variety of colors, depict places and things related to the neighborhoods and southwest Arizona. The four blue-tiled arches depict the river, multicolored stars, and prickly pear cacti.
