    Description: 
    Bas-relief plaque on stele depicting thirty-two men from Gonzales as they arrive at the Alamo. They are dressed in military uniform including hats, boots, rifles, and shoulder and belt packs. They form a line on a path that leads to the Alamo, which is visible in the background. The last man in line wears a coonskin cap and holds a rifle by his side with his proper left hand. The landscape alongside path includes trees, low shrubs, cactus, and rocks. Hills are visible in the distance.
