Inscription:  Schmitman (sic) '37 (On plaque on base:) THIS STATUE, SCULPT (sic) AS THE "CRUSADER" IN 1939,/BY SASCHA SCHMITTMANN FOR THE AMERICAN/CANCER CRUSADE IS NOW OWNED BY THE/TRITON INSURANCE GROUP/AND REPRESENTS TRITON, THE SON OF NEPTUNE,/AFTER WHOM THE GROUP WAS NAMED... signed Description:  Bust of a male figure stands on a square pedestal. The figure looks over his proper right shoulder and wears a drape-like headpiece which falls down his back and to the proper left side of his chest. He has a strong clefted chin. It was acquired by the Triton Insurance Company around 1966-1967. The work is enclosed on two sides by a brick wall with four globe lights on the top corners.
