    Description: 
    A dying Polish officer in uniform is running with his mouth gagged and his hands bound behind his back. He wears a military cap and three medals on his proper left chest. A rifle is behind him with its bayonet impaling his back, the tip pointing out of his chest. The figure stands atop a base with inscriptions and plaques.

A monument to the thousands of Polish military officers massacred at the Katyn Forest by the Soviet Army in 1940.
