    Owner:
Rockingham House Condominium Association, 401 State Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire 03801
    Remarks:
The sculptures adorn the old Rockingham Hotel building. The original building was constructed in 1785. It was converted into a hotel in the 1830's. After the hotel was nearly destroyed by fire in 1884, architect Sears was hired to rebuild the hotel. Beals is credited as the designer of the front of the newly rebuild hotel. The Seasons were probably created by F. Mortimer Lamb.
