    Description: 
    Two groups of two chairs each approximately 80 feet apart. Although similar at first glance, each chair is unique. The chairs are constructed of concrete, set at right angles. On the backs are imposed low-relief body parts, i.e. a torso, hands, wrists, etc.

    Remarks: 
    Carolyn Braaksma created the sculpture; Walt Nelson and hired laborers assisted. The sculpture was purchased in 1989 by the Cherry Creek North Arts Foundation to enhance the Cherry Creek North Business District. One of the chairs was stolen on April 1st, 1992, but subsequently recovered on July 30, 1992. IAS files contain a related article from Rocky Mountain News (Denver, CO), Oct. 21, 1990, pg. 24M.
