    Description: 
    The bark was removed from an old tree and it was carved into a totem pole. At the top of the piece is an eagle with wings extended straight up. Below the eagle is the face of an American Indian. Beneath the face are three large claws. To the proper right side of the face is a human heart in relief with an eight-point star in the middle and white lightning bolts behind.

The owner, Bob Welch, is part Cherokee and the sculpture's title "Star Gazer" is Bob Welch's indian name.
