    Description: 
    An arch-shaped relief above church entrance; and on the east side of the church, a shrine. The relief depicts Christ pointing with both hands to the Sacred Heart on his chest. On either side of him are two angels and below him are the heads of two putti. On the corners of the church are reliefs of two winged lions. The grotto shrine includes sculptures of Mary standing with a female figure kneeling below her. Both figures wear robes and veils and have their hands clasped in prayer.

    Plaque adjacent to Mary, reads: "A mons. Luis Duval/en conmemoracion de su/jubileo de oro,/1888-Junio 24-1938,/la tercera orden Franciscana." There is a stone grotto area adjacent to the church with three grave-markers for pastors who served the congregation.
