    Standing figure of Raoul Wallenberg in a two dimensional abstract form. He stands in profile with one arm extended, and is comprised of metal into which geometric cutouts have been made. On either side of the figure are two tall triangular forms, onto which the figure's shadow is cast.

    Remarks: 
    Funded by private and corporate donations. Materials cost $150,000 and the artist donated his services. Monument initiated by John Brooks, who, with his wife, was rescued by Wallenberg. Raoul Wallenberg (1912-1947?) was the Swedish ambassador to Hungary during world War II. He protected the Jews from Nazi persecution. IAS files include the text of the second plaque which contains acknowledgments.
