    Remarks:
IAS files contain articles from The Hartford Courant May 18, 1987 and March 18, 1993. The cross, a Lithuania folk tradition, was designed by Simas Augaitis and executed by Joseph Ambrozaitis. It was done to commemorate the 600th anniversary of Christianity in Lithuania. The dedication of the cross was part of a larger nationwide celebration, that in Hartford included folk dancing and a procession of approximately 1,000 people along Farmington Avenue.
