Description:
In the center of the memorial is a combat infantryman holding a rifle against his chest as he accompanies a
Korean
girl carrying a young
Korean
boy on her back, as they walk toward a combat medic. This bronze sculpture is the central element in a memorial plaza that contains a series of black granite monoliths inscribed with the history of the
Korean
War and the names of all Arkansans who died there. A gray granite ach leads to the memorial plaza.
