    Description: 
    Oblong bronze bell suspended by a chain attached to a wooden base. The base consists of a tall beam, crossed by a shorter beam in mid-section from which the bell hangs.

    Remarks: 
    The bell was created for the Washington State Centennial Celebration. A nearby plaque indicates that the languages on the bell were chosen because they are from major Pacific Rim countries. IAS files contain transcription of founder's mark and copy of related article from Clallum County Chronicle, Nov. 16, 1988. The bell can be rung by the public.
