    Description:
An Indian grandmother sits on a rock with a young boy in her lap. The grandmother has waist-length hair that flows behind her back. She wears a leather dress, moccasin boots, and a bracelet on her outstretched proper left hand. The boy is bare-chested and holds a toy bow with both hands. The grandmother and child are seated on a rock that is decorated on the back with a relief of the boy as a grown man. He has long hair and sits or kneels, wearing a loin-cloth and holding a bow in his proper left hand. The relief includes a deer, cliffs, and clouds. The sculpture represents the Yavapai creation myth of the "Monster Slayer" who is raised by his grandmother and grows up to make the world safe for people.
