    Description: 
    The sculpture, a circular abstract mosaic made of triangular and square pieces of white granite, octagonal pieces of bluestone, and irregularly-shaped pieces of puddingstone, is embedded directly in the concrete sidewalk. Embedded within the mosaic are flat metal machine parts such as a latch key and several cogs. Also embedded within the mosaic are flat metal medallions containing emblems for: The Townscape Institute (a circular grid pattern); the Roslindale Historical Society (a circular landscape of two houses and two trees); the American Legion (a star with U.S. written in the center); the Masons; and a flat metal square containing the emblem for Roslindale Village (a series of squares with a cross in the middle). A border of red bricks is embedded around the outside edge of the circular mosaic.
