Description:
A standing Christ with the sacred
heart
on his chest. His arms are outspread and he is robed and barefoot. The sculpture is mounted on a base flanked by kneeling angels on side tiers and a winged figure of St. Michael on a short front tier. St. Michael holds a metal spear pointed downward on the Devil's head.

Remarks:
The sculpture was installed by the Sea League of America in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Division Morskie-Oko No. 47. The sculpture was restored around 1991 under the auspices of the Senior Citizen Society. IAS files contain an excerpt from the brochure entitled "Carmelite Shrines."
