    Description: 
    A police officer in a 1980's police uniform stands with his arms at his sides. He wears a cap on his head and a badge on his proper left chest pocket. The officer stands atop a two-tiered circular base. Five steles with inscriptions and images honoring police officers surround the figure.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is the centerpiece of a memorial to slain Cincinnati police officers. The memorial was commissioned by the Fraternal Order of Police, Queen City Lodge #69 for $157,000. IAS files contain related articles from The Cincinnati Enquirer (Cincinnati, OH), Oct. 11, 1988; March 2, 1989; May 16, 1990. IAS files also contain transcriptions of nearby steles, which includes officer and donor names.
