    Description: 
    Four rough-hewn figures representing a Mexican family consisting of a mother, a father, and two children. The figures are huddled together hugging one another. Each parent places a hand on the head of one child and a hand on the back of the other child. The father wears a sombrero. The sculpture is installed on a wall along the west terrace of the house.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was executed in Mexico. IAS files contain a copy of the Fallingwater cataloging sheet for the sculpture. The cataloging sheet details the 1989 conservation treatment which involved soaking the sculpture in ProSoCo H-Stone Strengthener and applying ProSoCo Conservware Cleaning Solvent. During conservation the man's hat broke off, but it was repaired.
