Dates:  1989.; Dedicated Summer 1992. Digital Reference:  Medium:  Fiberglass resin with internal steel structure on a fiberglass resin base. Dimensions:  Approx. 27 ft. 9 in. x 13 ft. x 13 ft. Inscription:  unsigned Description:  A standing male figure in the style of ancient Egypt. The figure faces forward, proper left foot slightly forward, arms at sides. The figure wears a tall headdress, beard and loincloth. It stands on a base covered with hieroglyphics and is backed by a rectangular pillar. The base rests in a brick planter between two sets of stairs. It was commissioned by the City of Memphis with the permission of the Egyptian Antiquities organization. Ron Street served as the technician who made the mold for the statue.
