Description:
Three interconnected houses in a state of disarray following a natural
disaster
. The center house has a metal frame with Plexiglas windows, and is upside down, balanced on its roof ridge. Behind it is a brick veneer house with a wooden frame resting on its side, a side wall (north side) removed and laying on the ground like a patio. The "front" house has a concrete and wood frame, with concrete stucco sides and corrugated metal roof, and lies on one side of its peaked roof. Blocks of wood are suspended by ropes from the interior. The side wall of this house is also on the ground. The sculpture is set directly on the ground.
