    Description: 
    Outlined rendering of two military helicopters. Resting on the ground is a Huey "Dust-Off". In it are a pilot, co-pilot, door gunner and crew chief. Three soldiers are being evacuated in it. In the air above the Huey is a Cobra Gunship. A pilot and co-pilot are visible in it. The helicopters are depicted in outline form and the figures within are abstract. The metal sculpture stands atop a free-standing black concrete wall.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is one of nine installed in the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. The garden was created by volunteers under the guidance of Ric deLugo as a memorial to war dead. Land for the garden was donated by the United States Forest Service. Funding for the sculpture was raised by donation. IAS files contain copies of related articles from Pioneer Press, Feb. 22, 1989.
