Description:
Eight heroic relief sculptures mounted on the side of a building. One sculpture depicts a full-length portrait of Hiram and another man. Hiram is standing, holding an open scroll in his proper right hand. Both men are dressed in ancient garb. Behind the two men, workers are constructing a large, square archway. A second sculpture is a full-length portrait of Imhotep. Imhotep is sitting on a throne chair, holding the scepters of upper and lower Egypt. A man stands before Imhotep, and gestures with his proper right hand. Behind the two men are columns with papyrus decorations. A third sculpture is of Zerubbabel. He is shown in profile and is seated on the right side. A bearded man, also in profile, stands in front of him. A fourth sculpture portrays Saints John. John the Baptist, wearing animal skins and pouring water from a shell is on the right. On the left, Saint John wears a loosely draped robe. In the background is a cross.
A fifth sculpture is a portrait of de Reims. A man stands on the right and points to the scroll being held by a man who is seated on the left. Both men are dressed in medieval costume. A sixth sculpture is a portrait of Christopher Wren. He stands on the left and holds a scroll in his proper left hand. A man stands on the right in front of a low column.
