    Description:
Two cast concrete, columnar lamp standards which frame a garden entrance. At the top of one of the lamps is a seated satyr who makes a mocking gesture towards the other lamp which is topped by a nude female figure. The satyr gestures with his hands to his ears. The woman expresses shock or surprise by holding her proper right hand to her mouth. The woman leans back on her proper left elbow. Both of her legs are bent and are draped over the side of the lamp top. Both of the satyr's legs are bent and he sits up erect and gestures with both hands. On the sides of both lamp standards are stylized foliage and fauna. The standard on which the satyr sits has two birds, a salamander, and an ear of corn. The other standard has an ear of corn, and a large insect. At the top of each standard, beneath each figure is a socket for a light bulb.
