    Description: 
    Bas-reliefs located on the facade of City Hall. The typanum of the building features the relief of a steam railroad engine. The engine is moving away from a scene with leafy trees and boulders (representing the North) and is heading towards a scene with palm trees and southern plantings (representing the South). The rounded arches over the second floor windows have 8 three-dimensional reliefs depicting the heads of mules, cows, hogs, and horses.
