A boy and a girl try to feed a yearling horse. The barefoot boy sits on the edge of a white stone wall, he wears a shirt with sleeves rolled up past his elbows and pants rolled up above his ankles. He leans over and extends his cupped proper left hand to the horse. The barefoot girl stands on tip-toe on a ledge behind the wall and spreads her arms out along the top of the wall. Her hair is in a ponytail and she wears a short-sleeved blouse and a mid-thigh length skirt. The horse approaches the two children. The sculpture is set in the center of a planted circle with a brick border running along its rim.
