    The sculpture is a symbol of the Coots Unlimited Sportsmens Club. The Club commissioned the artists to create the sculpture. Donations were received from the Ashby Legion and the Ashby Community Club, among others. IAS files contain related articles from the Battle Lake Review (MN), Jan. 29, 1992; and June 3, 1992, pg. 16.
