    Remarks:
Sculpture was carved in 1986-1987 under the sponsorship of the Wrangell Totem Project, which was funded by the Alaska State Legislature, Office of History and Archaeology, and the Alaska Division of Tourism. The project was conducted by the Wrangell Cultural Heritage Committee and included the creation of the Kiks Adi Totem Park in Wrangell. The park occupies the site where the Kiks Adi Totem was first erected in 1895 to honor Kahlteen, Head of the Kiks Adi clan of the Tlingit nation. Sculpture is a replica of this original totem. IAS files contain transcription from nearby historic marker.
