    Description: 
    A stone circle is composed of several concentric rings. The outermost ring (6 feet in diameter) is made of gravel; next is a polished light granite ring (2 feet wide segments). Within this circle is a ring of black granite paving blocks (each five inches square; circle 8 feet in diameter). Next is another ring of polished light granite. Inside this ring is a circle made up of four wedges of black granite and, in the center, a small brass-covered capsule containing dirt from Babi Yar, Ukraine, USSR.

    This is one of several sculptures designed as part of Babi Yar Park (CO000072), a memorial to the 200,000 victims, mostly Jews, with Ukranians and others, who died at Babi Yar, Kiev (Ukraine, USSR), between 1941 and 1943.
