Description:
A kinetic sculpture portraying the relationship between man, nature, and animals. Mounted on a beam are two wind-activated, rotating, steel plate disks representing the
earth
, each with silhouettes of desert creatures. Birds and reptiles are depicted, including quail, coyote, and lizard. Each disk moves independently and has a banded "tail" of strips. The sculpture is set on a square base in the center of square, stone planter.
