    Description: 
    An open sphere-shaped sculpture made up of seven figures with linked hands and feet represents the Earth. The figures, four female and three male, represent the continents. The male figures are North America, Africa and Australia and the female figures are South America, Europe, Asia and Antarctica, who is in a fetal position at the bottom and lays directly on the axis. The sculpture stands on a pyramidal plinth and low, square base.
