    Remarks:
These reliefs were created on site by the artist as part of a Works Progress Administration project in New Orleans City Park. A mold of the artist's clay relief was attached to wooden forms on the bridge; when the concrete was poured for the bridge, the reliefs were created. Historic New Orleans Collection artist files contain additional information.
