    Description:
An abstract sculpture which looks vaguely like a standing bird. The sculpture consists of curved planes and sharp angles, with rough and polished surfaces. "The piece explores the infinite possibilities and variations of the circle within a square. The underlying concept is Displacement-of-Volume, the diameter of the circle being the same length as the side of the square." The sculpture is mounted on a base at one corner of the bridge which crosses the Horsepen Bayou. The sculpture and base rest on a cement casing, imbedded in the ground, which contains the Bicentennial Capsule, to be opened July 4, 2076.
