    Description: 
    "An abstract geometric sculpture based on the armillary sphere, or skelton globe. Contains an ecliptic ring, an equatorial ring and a gnomon ring. It is engraved with the signs of the zodiac. The rings represent the circles of the celestial sphere. The design is based on ancient astronomical instruments. The sculpture is accurately aligned to the north and functions as a sundial, with hour markings on the equatorial ring.
