    Remarks:
The sculpture was originally created for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The work also known as "At Rest" and "The Lookout" was cast in staff in a 12 foot size for the world's fair in St. Louis, 1904. Other versions were made, including a 36 inch bronze model and a 15 inch bronze. The Prescott sculpture was "pointed up" from a smaller plaster version owned by the Cowboy Hall of Fame (Oklahoma City). IAS files contain copy of dedication booklet and Prescott Community Art Trust pamphlet. IAS files also contain excerpt from Alfred Mervyn Davies' "Solon H. Borglum, a man who stands alone," Chester (CT): Pequot Press, 1974.
